Cal Maritime Mentoring Program
The Alumni Association of the California Maritime Academy announces an exciting opportunity for CMA alumni and cadets. In response to inquiries from cadets regarding educational and career advice, the CMA Alumni Association is launching the Cal Maritime Mentoring program. Cal Maritime Mentoring is designed as a means of connecting cadets to CMA alumni.
Benefit to Cadets (Mentees)
Cadets will benefit from the guidance and advice offered by individuals who understand, through firsthand experience, the career issues and concerns they currently face.

Benefit to Alumni (Mentors)
Participating alumni, will in a short period of time, impact the future of cadets. Alumni will be able to give back to the Academy through an investment of time and share their personal experience with cadets seeking guidance. Mentors will need to make a one-year commitment and may specify how many cadets they would like to be assigned. Throughout the year, mentors are free to offer their mentees assistance in whatever way they choose.
If you have any questions about being a mentor, please contact our Alumni Mentoring Coordinator, Brian Goldman'95E, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can't commit just yet to being a mentor? Share insight with cadets via the Cal Maritime Mentoring discussion board.
