CAPTAIN NORM WERNER NAMED 2012 DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI  During Commencement for the Class of 2012, alumnus Captain Norm Werner ('63D) was honored as the 2012 Distinguished Alumni. The award was established to recognize and honor graduates who have exemplified the mission of Cal Maritime by distinguishing themselves through their outstanding personal or professional accomplishments. His name will be posted on a plaque beside his fellow Distinguished Alumni in the Alumni Plaza outside the Simulation Center on campus.
