Alumni & Friends: Your Ship Has Come In!
Join us for a special edition of 4th Thursdays on TUESDAY, JUNE 29, 2010 at 5:00 PM.
The TS Golden Bear calls port in Hawaii later this month to complete her first of two summer training voyages. To celebrate, Hawaii alumni are invited to attend a special reception in Honolulu on Tuesday, June 29th at Gordon Biersch at Aloha Tower Marketplace.
The festivities begin at 5 p.m. and pu-pus and the first round of drinks are on the Alumni Association.
You’ll have an opportunity to visit with CMA President Bill Eisenhardt and Alumni Association President Ken Passé (E-69) and find out what's new with your Academy and Alumni Association. Ship’s officers and student leaders will also be on-hand to share their adventures in Asia on this summer's first training cruise.
Also taking place in conjunction with the ship being in Hawaii is the 2010 Dave Lyman Memorial Fundraiser, which will be held on Wednesday, June 30th at the Aloha Tower Pier-side Stage.
