The President's Circle was formed in the spring of 2000 to help provide a continued source of unrestricted support to help the president answer Cal Maritime’s unexpected needs. Members of the President’s Circle are alumni, parents, friends, and business and community leaders who form a circle of support for Cal Maritime with a minimum unrestricted gift of $1,000.
From financial aid and special programs, to facilities maintenance and quality teaching, donations from members of the President’s Circle have a direct effect on the life of every student and faculty member on campus. For example, using Presidents Circle funds, President Eisenhardt was recently able to underwrite the operating expenses to purchase a J105 for the Sailing Team so they can compete in the San Francisco Bay Big Boat Regatta. In addition, President’s Circle funding recently helped re-build a waterfront barbecue and picnic area for our students, alumni and campus community to enjoy.
Annual memberships for corporations and individuals are available at the following levels: Corporate Circle ($10,000+) Admiral’s Circle ($5,000 - $9,999), 1929 Circle ($2,500 - $4,999) and Maritime Circle ($1,000 - $2,499).
