Our Ship Is Coming In!

Alumni, Parents and Friends are invited to join us for a reception aboard the Training Ship Golden Bear. The Captain's Receptions are a long tradition and opportunity for our extended family to be a part of Summer Cruise at select ports of call.  This year we hope to see you at the Port of Hawaii, Seattle and Portland!

The Captain's Receptions are a great way to meet cadets on their Summer Cruise, learn about Cal Maritime, and hear sea stories from the summer voyage.  Included in your ticket price are hors d'oeuvres, desserts and refreshments.

Registration for this event can be completed online or by phone. Tickets will not be available the day of the event.

Please note that for safety reasons:

1. Children under the age of 5 are not allowed aboard the TS Golden Bear
2. Each guest must provide their full legal name (as it appears on a valid government-issued photo ID) upon registration (no guest TBD or plus 1)
3. Each guest must have a valid government-issued photo ID (only exception are minor children, ages 5 to 17, attending with registered guardian) and
4. The TS Golden Bear does not have assist access - each guest must be able to board without assistance from crutches, walkers, manual or electric wheelchairs, canes and free of casts. Guests will be required to climb steep staircases to access reception, restrooms and tour areas. We recommend guests wear slacks and comfortable closed-toed, flat shoes.

*It is the responsibility of your cadet to check his/her schedule to make sure he/she is available to attend the event.
